Fibromyalgia & Pain, Pain, Pain

Whoo Hoo, Whoo Hoo!

Today I woke up without any Fibromyalgia pain at all.  As I cautiously, very slightly moved an arm, a smile appeared upon my face.  Then I tried a leg, and my smile grew bigger!  Yes, I could get used to this!

As I lay there I thought “Wow, I forgot what it was like to wake up normally, without any pain”.  To celebrate, I lay there and just soaked up the feeling for half an hour!

I’m ten months in on the WholeApproach program and ahead of schedule.  At twelve months there’s supposed to be a big leap forward, but I call this a BIG Leap!  I believe I would have hit this point earlier if I had gone on a raw food diet in the beginning.  As it was, I waited for eight months before I started to eat a higher raw food diet.

Pain isn’t supposed to be a constant part of life. Pain is actually a reminder that something is wrong.  It’s a symptom.  Your body is talking to you, saying something needs to be fixed.  We become used to it, and ignore it if we can.  Fibromyalgia pain is hard to ignore, but I did at first.  Then it gets worse and worse until you can’t function.  And nothing works on it, not pain pills, not muscle relaxants, not massage, and not sleep medicine. (and not self-medicating, like marijuana or alcohol). I had a friend who tried that, she died at an early age.  In her 40′s.  And I’ll bet the new medicine Lyrica doesn’t have a very high effective rate either.  If it does work, let’s see how long it works for.  Two to three months is my guess.  I know the body’s cycles, and I know Nature’s Design.  I’ll bet the pain comes back even worse than before the medicine was started.

I went this route and it didn’t work.  When you’re ready, check out the WholeApproach supplement program and the Ann Wigmore raw food lifestyle.  (chidiet.com) I love it! And I’m never going back to a pain filled day and night again.
